Bloody hell, serious amount of criticism for Futács on here (I like adding the little accent above his name), with a few games under his belt he's still got the potential to be good.
There are some skills that improve with continuous match time and their are some that you should have no matter how many times you play. From what I've seen of Futacs he is slow, awkward and can't turn. The only thing he seems to have going for him is his height, and not even sure he's that good in the air.
Well obviously not, as you have just replied to one of my posts! So unless that was a rhetorical question, you failed!
I don't like criticising a player until we've seen enough of him, and Futács has only ever started twice for us, which I don't feel is enough to instantly denounce him as crap.
He wasnt good enough to play regularly for Pompey and he was never good enough for us. Nice guy, but just not good enough.
DJ did well for Blackpool. Blackburn on the other hand seem to have gone into a nosedive since he joined them, it's even reached the point where things are so bad for them they've taken Cameron Stewart on loan to try to turn things around.
DJ is a bit of an enigma. For some clubs he seems to do well, for others he's a disaster. Blackburn are seeing the Campbell that we had. Blackpool saw the Campbell that Birmingham had. QPR... well, come on, he was never Prem quality. I think, a lot like Beckford, despite all the tattoos and scowls he's actually a delicate little flower and has to be in exactly the right circumstances to bloom. Most clubs could do without that kind of player, especially when paying the money we did for both of those.
He scored a lot of goals for Ipswich earlier this season too. Classic player who will play under his own terms. The best players will perform under any manager, and that's why DJ's not among them.
