Off Topic Fury v Usyk

He hadn't been knocked down though.

 

Was only kept up by the help of the ropes, he was counted to 8

Question is weather it should have been a count or stopped in my view.

 

I'm not sure of the rules tbh, you are probs right, just seemed a bit unfair on Usyk.

 

It’s classed as knockdown as he used the ropes to stop him falling.

Hence why the scorecards all had 8-10.

 

Doesn't work like that mate - if he's gone and being held by the ropes, the ref has to intervene. Fury was very lucky he got the standing count then the bell saved him. Ref did the right thing.

 

It should have been waved off though. Fury wasn't able to defend himself and was getting seriously hurt.

It should have been a 9th round TKO victory for Usyk.

 

I agree mate he was completely gone.

The referee gave him far to long on the count.

 

What a fight! Got to say I worried for Usyk 4-6th after a strong start but he came flying back i nthe second half and deservedly won.

Fury should have been boxing instead of showboating for ****ing meme's early doors - tbh the better fighter won and my only concern was that one of the judges had Fury ahead on points wtfh was that about?
