Fury showboating, pulling faces, hands behind back, goading for 10-15 seconds at a time in the early rounds rather than throwing jabs, when rounds were tight. Then his old man telling him it's in the bag despite being knocked down (saved by ropes). Needs shot of his old man from training camps and corner - blokes a liability.
Ha. Usyk is just a sick boxer who is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Round 9 Tyson was gone. I have never seen Tyson so hurt in a fight. Like he was damaged goods. Usyk just has a screw lose.
He was winning to be fair but he didn’t realise that Usyk isn’t a one trick pony. Usyk is a sick boxer. He has gears and levels and he know when to box and when to save energy. He played Tyson. Usyk is the best boxer I have ever seen.
But I admit at one point I was concerned that a late comeback from usyk would be too little to late. Holy crap that 9th round.
Gears and ****ing. But I hear what you’re saying. Usyk has to go down as one of the best ever. He isn’t even heavyweight. He’s bossed Fury and Joshua. Because they are entitled and he’s professional. And arguably the best ever.
That 9th round was always in Usyk locker. Watch the fight again. In the corner. They said it’s time. And he went. Ok. I kid you not that’s what he said. It was like they let the raging bull out. Watch that 9th round back.
Usyk is on another level with strategy. Fury fought very well imo. But usyk is just a genius. Whenever you think hes struggling he's just waiting.
It was a good fight Don't buy into the national pride **** tbh, boxers fight for themselves there's no reason to like Fury more because he's English. Fury was absolutely at his peak when he beat Wilder. Both in the terms of mental fortitude & skill. Now while he may be fit again, he's back to acting the clown. Likely because he knew he might not win.
That bit where Fury is basically out on his feet and the ref comes in and stops Usyk from continuing to punch him, surely he then has to end the fight, he just gave Fury a chance to regroup.
? Why is he getting involved though, he either stops the fight or lets Usyk continue to batter him. It wasn't like it was one of those where they start hugging each other and the ref needs to break them up.
