First half terrible tactically, second half thought we could have nicked a draw. Hoolahoop improved massively in the last third of the game, before that giving it away all too often. The R Bennett was class - reminded me of a young (but a lot better) Butterworth. Howson was also excellent and is getting better each game.
I'm still a bit unsure about the passes back to Zak, only for Zak to hoof it forward. That is too predictable.

Oh well, thought we were going to lose 6 -0 again after the first 20 minutes. The second half (and our newer players) give me a lot of hope

I guess everyone else was wrong then welly, they only saw Fulham score 2 goals, but as you are never wrong and we are in freefall, i bow to your superior knowledge!

<laugh>

I was only having a laugh, Dave! I knew you only lost 2-1, I just wanted to hear one of you lot say it! ;)

Have a good evening, mate!

<ok>

Wow, that second half was all us! In the end the midfield didn't do enough; both goals conceded when midfield runs were not tracked and too many balls straight into Schwazer's hands.

Ruddy - 7 - Standard Ruddy game. Can't fault for the goals, few useful saves, commanded his area.
Martin - 6.5 - Defended well enough, spent most of the game in the Fullham half.
R Bennett - 8 (MoM) Saved two goals, brave with his blocks, precise with his tackles.
Ward - 6 - A bit reckless at times, but unlucky to be booked. Missed a header or two when he should have been hitting the target.
Whitbred - 6 - Wasn't his usual safe during his limited time on the pitch.
Naughton - 6.5 - Hard to fault defensively, but his crossing wasn't great today when we really needed it.
Fox - 7 - The only midfielder who can say he didn't give up possession too often.
Surman - 5.5 - Gave away the ball the most and the quality of his delivery from open play and set pieces was a bit flat too be honest.
Hoolahan - 6.5 - Added the occasional spark, did just about enough to justify his conclusion.
Howson - 6.5 - Missed a guilt-edged chance, but one of the better midfielders we had today.
Morrison - 6 - Even by the standards of Morrison on grey away days he had if any service. A real shame he wasn't there at the end when it was all Norwich.

Subs:
E Bennett - n/a - Not on for very long, but added a little bit, had one very good cross.
Jackson - 6.5 - Couldn't make it happen vs Fullham this time.
Wilbraham - 7 - Actually Wilbraham's worst performance in the league for me, but still quite decent! His goal was a bit lucky and at first he seemed to look a bit lost with the ball at his feet (And also tried to run through Fullham's defence once or twice) but after 5 mins he was winning and controlling all the aerial balls that Morrison hadn't.

Hey DM. What did you think of $hitty's result today? <laugh>
