I see in another post you say we are not a big club, honestly this club can go as far as it wants, you only have to look at the Manchester games to see that.
Bristol City are in the top eleven crowds in the championship, give us something to cheer about and those crowds would get bigger.
Don't underestimate Bristol and it's catchment area.

When LJ was appointed I said it was a poor decision as he would never unite the club, not withstanding his poor CV for a Championship club.
He's Marmite and that's being kind.

The comments on this thread and on OTIB are just the start should we not get to the play offs this season.
I hope by some miracle the results go for us in the next few weeks.

We aren't going to make the play offs , we aren't playing anywhere near well enough .

I don't see the point in all the anti Lee stuff , whilst he's our manager we may as well get behind him and the team, SL has made it obvious he's here to stay we may as just get used to it .

To be fair to him , at the moment there really isn't a case for him to go, whilst our recent form is very poor we have still progressed more than anyone could have hoped for this season. I hope he manages to sort out whatever is causing the slump going into next season as it will mean our form picks up and once again we are challenging at the right end of the table.

If that doesn't happen that will be the time to ask questions, not now imho

Everyone of those clubs you have listed have been in the top flight since we've been there, many more than once.
As for crowds, for the size of our City, I'd say we are poor. Norwich are a fraction of our size as a City and they get 25k season tickets sold alone more or less every year.
We don't attract decent players or managers because of our lack of success throughout the years.......I like your enthusiasm RR, but you are not realistic.
IMO, LJ is a good up and coming manager who is looking to achieve at this club and again IMO not doing a bad job....you want to get rid......I dread to think who will replace him and what will happen..Remember GJ and what happened after he got booted?

City lacking leaders, well if they cannot find 1 amongst the 30 odd signings (only 5 who started on Saturday) whose fault is that?? Ashton runs the recruitment strategy. Brought in a new squad with Lee Johnson and yet City are still relying on players who’ve been at the club for over 5 years. Big test for him next season. If the team is not filled with his signings soon employ Red Robin give him a pin theres a donkey and he will do a better job.

Fans make me laugh and angry at the same time......
Listening to Talksport today to some of the Everton fans, whom think they have a divine right to be in the top 4 of the premiership and to be playing Barcelona type football.....They had the manager they wanted with Koeman, because of the football, because of what he achieved at Southampton.
Spent an absolute fortune on the players he wanted, was also done in the transfer market quicker than all other clubs.....was setup for what was thought as a mega season for them..............................only took a few months to find out it was all going badly......the club got shot of him and Unsworth who was adding to the decline. So they brought in Big Sam, he steady's the ship, currently in 8th. But guess what? Most of the fans want him out, because of the football is dull. Don't want much do they? He's saved them with more or less the players he was given.. But fans are still not happy to give him a chance or some time to hit the transfer market......Crazy.

If you was manager you would still be creating threads saying “get RR out, he’s clueless” <laugh> <laugh> <laugh>

You do come across as angry. Calm down people who know you may start to worry about you. Highlights that LJ is being given every support that other Managers would never get. Five windows millions spent 30 players and cant find a leader !!!

Scenes being set by LJ and Ashton its gong to be difficult ties. looks like another rebuild after the rebuild that didn't rebuild the team and other five windows that sees the team being leaderless!! thought there was a plan and a project to map this out!!

So RR, are you saying that LJ has now attracted more fans to come and watch us than any of the previous 5 managers?

I believe that is down to the new ground and the excellent first half of the season.
Shame the Manager and Players forgot the season does not stop at the end of December 2017.
Half st sales due to the Man Utd offer was very good marketing.
Not so sure fans will tolerate the downturn in 2018.

What you're not grabbing my friend is, this is still the best season (unless you want to count SC's promotion from League 1) and will be our highest position since the GJ playoffs! Progress has been achieved!!

Completely agree, achieved with £25million and 30 signings.
Hope this time next season we agree that 'progress has been achieved', because I can't believe SL will bankroll him the same.
