The countdown to the final standings are taking shape and we are sadly lacking in anything. A good second half is only good if you are winning and is of no bloody use when you consistently give the opposition the chance to blow us away in the first half.
Looked good 10 mins after scoring, but then back to becoming predictable, lack of possession, lack of composure, lack of final ball.. same old same old.. wish I’d gone out now!!
Poor team selection and tactics from NP in the first half. Although we changed it around second half we left ourselves too much to do. A poor result, we have to improve.
I’m still behind NP, but he has to be man enough to admit when he gets it wrong, constantly blaming the players is not a good look. He’s beginning to sound like LJ.
IMO.. in most games like that and we lose, he gets his tactics wrong I'm afraid..or the message he sends out doesn't register with the players... Continued intensity required after we score, yet Massengo keeps the bench warm..says it all.. I'm not sure where any points are coming from in the next 3 games!!
wont say a lot about season beginnings departures water under the bridge..... He has made quite a few "blunders" seemingly has an idea and sticks to it wont be disuaded ... some of his subbing has been off the mark ... as has been starting line up !!!? odd comment in interviews are a bit hypocritic .... was HNM INJURED? was Vyner injured?? Cundy injured? .... why not start Atkinson instead of a forward? didnt see / hear the game from 3pm till 5 .15 pm but subs at halftime look like went 3-4-1-2 ? @ 2- 0 down. on top of this he inch's blame to players ??
Am I right in thinking that Nigel's departure from Leicester was a bit contentious? Being so far from the real action leaves me a bit short on the facts surrounding certain issues and this would be one of those cases so I wouldn't want to give wrong impressions. My brother entrenched in the deepest parts of Somerset gave me what he thought to be the skinny on the subject surrounding that parting of the ways and it left me a bit gob smacked to be honest. Perhaps some of you will have a much better handle on the history of Nigel (and his son?) at Leicester and whether other loosely based health factors were involved.
