Unbelievable. Couldn't believe how that managed to the stay out. It must have been milimetres, the best one he's produced in a while. Always felt we needed the 3rd goal given our decade long tendency to sit deep in the final ten. Harris did make a difference yes but it was combined with a much better 20 mins of play where City actually played like a Championship side. The Fulham players struggled to deal with Harris running straight at them. Declan takes up good positions but doesn't pose the same threat. Another good performance from Harris but I personally wouldn't start him. He works really well against tired defenders and his unpredictablity can unlock defences late in the game. Not sure he'd have the same impact over the 90. Encouraging again from the 2nd half showing. Unfortunately feel that it will be the 1st half performance that we show more of this season. Would like to know what Lennie told them at half time!
Read the report by Phil Smith in the paper this morning which seems to suggest that going forward at speed especially with Harris is the way, pace presses the opposition back and allows our midfielders to push up. Great to see us score but how many times will we score from distance? Real worry though that out centre forwards are anonymous. Why did they give Zahore a THREE year contract
