I see there's no match thread up today, so I'll just start something with this.
Just the one goal, but it was enough. Not great but far more businesslike performance today. Although ALF drew a blank yet again, I thought he had a great game. He was non stop harrying their defenders when we didn't have the ball giving them no chance to settle.
I still wonder where we're going with this persistence with a 4-4-2 set up, but it got a result today despite the poor possession stats I've just seen on the Beeb. Everyone had a go, but Fulham looked very poor opposition to be brutally honest. Parker did show some class on times, and have to say was allowed to several times when he charged upfield unchallenged. McCormack looked as if he didn't quite know where to play.
Apart from ALF I thought young Simon Moore deserves a mention - he looked very composed and solid. If the rumours being bandied about all around me about the real reason for Marshie's absence are true, Moore will do for me.
No Fabio nor Macheda on the bench either - I wonder if their days are numbered with Malone and Revell now in the fold.
