Wow ... was shocked at first, but on replay the ref's made the right call there.

 

I thought the ref had accidentally brought out the red at first and meant to give a yellow.

 

Harsh decision in my opinion. Was a 50 - 50 ball. Yellow card.

 

sidwell off. i think it was a red card. not really overly high, but studs out, late and both feet went in can't really see the ref had another option.

Looked harsh on first sight, but on the replay you can see he went in late and high ... hit Arteta high on the ankle, potentially dangerous.

Harsh because on another day the ref might not have seen it, but if the ref sees it ... it's a red.

Decent effort from Giroud, he needs to carve out these opportunities far more often.

 

We need more penetrational runs ... They are standing still around the penalty box. Run to make space for others!
