Exactly what I was thinking, but got caught up in the action. Surely it should be an indirect free kick?

Wow. Could be a great day. Big game kicking off at 5pm (all-Ireland final replay) and I'm off for a 3 week holiday tomorrow. I might be pissed later myself. Delighted for JFH after the week he has had. Well done our players.

    FULL-TIME
    Fulham 1-2 QPR

    MISSED PENALTY (Aluko)
    Fulham 1-2 QPR

    OH MY WORD!

Sone Aluko stepped up to take the penalty to earn Fulham a point but smashes it against the post.

Alex Smithies, who earlier saved Tom Cairney's spot-kick, is congratulated by his team-mates and the Rangers fans are in absolute raptures.

    PENALTY (Fulham)
    Fulham 1-2 QPR

In the final 30 seconds of injury time QPR are penalised for a high foot on Jozabed and Fulham have their second penalty of the match.

Will Alex Smithies save his second spot-kick of the day?

    HITS THE WOODWORK

    Fulham 1-2 QPR

Fulham win a free-kick on the edge of the area, Jozabed takes it and it smashes the bar.

That was the Whites' 23rd shot of the match. How have they not scored more than one?

It can be a pen for dangerous play I suppose, but you just don't see them given normally.

I'll try Col. Going to Cuba and Mexico. Hurricane Matthew is hurtling towards Eastern Cuba and is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday. I am staying in Havana which is to the West of the island so with a bit of luck, I will miss the worst of it. It is the first category 5 hurricane in 9 years to hit the Caribbean.

I think we showed true character ... albeit there must be some luck if the opposition miss two penalties.

It is a massive confidence boost after a poor September and the saga of this week.

    Well done you R's!!!!!!

A very pleasant ending to a very traumatic week. I think JFH enjoyed the result the most!!!

****ing hell. I thought it was perfectly clear when I and my business partner met Jimmy at the Willesden Chicken Shack and Kebab Palace and agreed a fee of £5.50 to speak at the West Ruislip British Bake Off Appreciation Society's October meeting on the subject of 'Dutch Waffles', that this outrageous level of payment was to include a run of 28 1-1 draws. He's just so naive.

    Well done lads.
