IT’S derby day under the Craven Cottage lights tonight, as QPR make the short 3.4 mile journey across west London for an eagerly-awaited Sky Bet Championship clash against Fulham.

Chris Ramsey’s side head into the live Sky Sports showdown buoyed by an improved performance and result at Hull City on Saturday, where – thanks to yet another Charlie Austin goal – the R’s shared the spoils with the in-form Tigers, cementing their place in the top ten of the second tier in the process.

Fulham, meanwhile, succumbed to a 3-2 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday last weekend, ending their recent mini four-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

And on Tuesday, the Cottagers bowed out of the Capital One Cup on home soil, losing 1-0 to Stoke City, with former R’s old boy Peter Crouch scoring the only goal of the tie.

Leroy Fer and Sandro both stepped up their comebacks with 60 minutes each in an EDS fixture on Tuesday, and could be in contention for this evening’s fixture.

The Cottagers made six changes to their starting XI in the midweek defeat to Stoke, so Kit Symons is again likely to shuffle his pack for the visit of the R’s.

Jazz Richards is out after he picked up a knock in the 1-0 defeat to Stoke on Tuesday, but Ryan Fredericks has recovered from a quad problem s expected to take the Wales international’s place.

Symons is still unable to call on injured trio Luke Garbutt, Scott Parker and George Williams.

Nice one 9'sey......

There's something strangely alluring about Mrs Polter, there's just something strange about Mrs O'Hara.......

C'mon U R's

I'd love to see Mrs O'Hara's midfield. For such a hideously ugly little bloke he does pull some stunners. Being a millionaire arguably helps him in this.

That's true. Peter Crouch was once asked what he would have been if he wasn't a footballer.....he replied, a virgin!!!!
