What did the watching fans think of Buttons performance,he seemed to consolidate the defence
me :::positional play 80% distribution 75% corners crosses 75%.
feel much happier with him between the sticks

Tunnicliffe just isn't for me, never have been a fan. I've never came away from watching a match hes played in and thought "wow tunnicliffe had a really good game there". The way I'd judge a players worth to the team is by thinking if he hadn't played last night would we really have noticed or missed him? I don't think so anyway. Where as you ask that same question of Cairney or McDonald and the answer is very different.

Not a fan of Tunnicliffe either FAB. Just went on last night and think we had a game plan to stiffle their midfield. Which he did.

Happy with him last night, rosc. Communicated well with the back four and definitely takes more control of the 6 yard (18 even) area than Bettinelli. Not any better than young Joronen, of course!.

Not convinced, as I've mentioned before, about his efforts to replicate Manuel Neuer though.

Picking up on rosc posting some game stats. What about these put out by Sky for Tom Cairney, who they made MOTM

Best passing accuracy in the match (95%)
Most passes in oppo. half (48)
Most touches for Fulham (82)

Some, me included, in the past have questioned about playing him on the wing because he lacked pace. Well, by jingo he went down the right at a fair rate of knots on many occasions in the second half last night. Do you reckon the captain's armband made a difference to him?

I went for Kalas as man of the match, not sure why I was very drunk when I did it and to be honest I could of chosen any of them. Hand I seen Odoi's box of tricks first it would have been him, outrageous skill.
Anyway what game, what a result, still early days but the rumours that we have found some pace and width and even a few full backs may actually be true. If we can come up trumps with a striker to replace Ross this could be an enjoyable season for a change.
What are the odds of SJ repeating Tigana when he sold top scorer and player of the year Geoff Horsfield to bring an unknown Louis Saha to the Cottage as a replacement.

In case you're watching Sky's favourite team (what a blooper Rob Green is!) here's something much better
