Wow. What a first-half for Liverpool. Rampant. Wouldn't mind a couple more goals in the second-half. Is that pushing it?
Suarez has been an absolute menace, even with aerial balls. he either darts in front of Haangeland and nicks it or fakes a run one way and goes the other so he's not sure how to take the ball. The fact little Luis is causing Haangeland problems in the air says it all. Our movement is frightening, it's like watching Arsenal only without the unnecessary final pass (not a dig at Arsenal, i say this because i want us to dominate teams with passing football like they can but without overplaying ti like they can be guilty of). Lucas and Spearing are moving the ball forward rapidly, and we have Glen, Maxi, Kuyt and Suarez swarming over their defence, Fulham just can't cope. A joy to watch, and it's been a while since i've been enjoying watching my football so much.
Fulham are being made look poor by some great movement. We've kinda let the foot up a bit, never great to see when Citeh have a 6 goal adv on diff
I wonder how Rafa feels watching this. On one hand I'm sure it irks him a bit the credit Kenny is getting, but on the other i bet he feels some vindication watching players he signed and defended playing so well. This isn't grab a goal or two and defend heroically, this is awesome football, which suggests the players had the ability all along.
Don't know how he would feel. He is a red fan so he will be happy, but he is competitive so is probably a little jealous! Fulham coming back into this a little.
Not doing too well early on in the second half, we could do with another goal to completely squash Fulham.
We need to just slow it down a bit, keep the ball, and i'm sure we can get another. Just don't lose another!
I've got a feeling the boys maybe thought the game was won at half-time. We haven't closed them down like the first half and we need to start closing them down quickly.
