Perhaps the Johnson team are our answer after all these years. However jgf2 I don't think we can afford the kind of money you just mentioned. No really, I can't come up with any reasonable answer to our predicament but I have a problem with the amount of time it has been allowed to fester and become worse. Despite all the tweets and support from the big man surely someone must be saying that it hasn't turned out the way it was supposed to on paper.
For me Benny Lennartsson Tony Pulis Brian Tinnion Sean O'Driscoll (your mate) and possibly the worst of them all! Keith Millen Derek McInnes To name a few All the games lost by LJ have been by the odd goal or 2.......you won't find that with my list......Don't care how much was spent
don't agree with putting Millen in the list.. did well and took the sharp end when he should have stood back.....
I always thought that KM got treated badly, considering the position we were in when he took over. He's been around long enough to get better respect.
It's always been a problem attracting decent players here and not always to do with the budget.. I don't think there is that much relevance, not compared to most clubs over the years..In fact most clubs in the championship have had parachute payments over the years and we've had nothing,,
that is the biggest carrot you can aim for ..get up stay for at least 2 years .. better parachute payment and a year of £100m plus ... . make it for 2 years..3 years and hey ho no debts and a platform to build on?????
I personally believe this club is sleepwalking itself to another relegation, but your opinion would hold much more sway with people on here if you hadn't said the same about every manager we have had since the day you first posted. If we could vote to sack a fan.. my vote would be for you!
So we sit two points of third bottom. Derby play Burton and QPR play Wigan Tuesday evening. Fulham is a must win game, even then I don't see it as being the light at the end of the tunnel as the next two are no hopers. Lansdown is going to come under immense pressure Wednesday if it all goes belly up. At least we will now what Tuesdays results will be.
The Fulham game has taken on more significance for all the wrong reasons. Does anybody truly believe that LJ will get the axe if we should lose? Time is fast running out on excuses and results are more important than anybody's hurt feelings. Interesting week ahead?
never put anyone on ignore before, you are of course entitled to express your views as are we all, but your constant repetitive whining is really starting to pee me off, so off you go for a couple of weeks.
Am I bothered what you think, not one bit. You and I have completely different views regards the club we both follow.
I see plenty of fans pulling the plug on STs if the dreaded R happens, many will pick and choose games.
