I thought it was first half as people were still coming in as Wilson scored. I do remeber that Fulham had a disallowed goal before we scored (I think the guy who put the ball in the net was Davis - can't be sure of first name - could have been Gordon - anyone confirm his name)
Think I missed that Moulton. Got to the ground late cos of train problem leaving from Cov. Had to share a cab with 3 other City fans from Euston. It was a bloody good atmosphere though.
My recoleection is that there were loads of traffic delays - and the coaches kept on arriving throughout the first half etc ... if you watch the Youtube footage there is a considerable difference in the numbers on the terrace in the first quarter versus later in the game ...
Club have said Liam Moore isnt for sale but Fulham are expected to come back in with another bid. We wont be interested in selling at all and I cant see Liam wanting to leave either
I've just watched a recording and it was the second half. I do remember that when Fulham had their goal disallowed the scoreboard showed Fulham 1 Leciester 0
Young liam had another fine game on Saturday, again showing his versatility ... he got forward better than RDL had done from right back and had put in a couple of useful crosses before the one that we scored from (inspired dummy fro an old head by KP) ...
I thought he had a very poor game until he moved to RB. But then again, I suppose marking Cameron Stewart is a lot easier than marking Ross McCormack.
I thought he did OK at centre back tbf ... Varney and McCormack had obviously been told to 'mix it up' and get in the face of our lads and it seemed to me that Liam had been particularly targeted (because of his youth and relative inexperience) - overall I thought he dealt with it well, not losing his cool and standing firm and resolute ... contrast that with how we got to Michael Keane against Derby, we bullied him into mistakes and didn't give him a moments respite ... at one point I swear he ran to the touchline asking for his mum ...
Credit to the way he carried on after he ran into the post as well, picked himself up, ran down the wing and crossed for the winning goal. Finest academy player for a long time and we need to keep hold of him.
Fulham have made another bid for Moore, plus one for Schlupp according to Sky. Hope we issue another quick 'not for sale' statement.
Depends how much the "improved" bid is, needs to improve alot for me. I would be happy to let Schlupp go if they have offered a decent amount for him.
Personally wouldn't want to let Schlupp go - he is still very young and whilst he has a lot of developing to do he has bags of potential - conceivably he could turn out to be a cracking left back in time ... one with an eye for a goal. Let's not forget that he was impressive enough to attract Sir alex Ferguson and Man United's interest only last season...
The Daily Fail has just produced a prime example of bull**** ****-stirring journalism ... I would not give this one moment's credence personally ... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...m-Moore-angry-Leicester-potential-Fulham.html
Fulham have apparently upped their bid for young Liam to ... wait for it ... £2.5 million!...... this is a serious piss take now ... I can only imagine it's some form of PR campaign to give their fans succour about them pulling out all the stops to bring players in blah blah ... seriously - you are asking a young Leicester born player to jetison his beloved home town club which are top of the league and favourites for promotion (with the bookies) for a Prem relegation scrap? ... ... oh and as aside ... we'll even bring your mate Jeff ... will up it by another £250k then (I've made that last bit up - by the way - but frankly it wouldn't come as a surprise, would it?)
that all! well im not worried then! been rejected anyway. http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/T...ect-2-5m-bid/story-20482884-detail/story.html
