Strangely, I didn't thing they worked too well together. They're too similar. The Swansea performance still sticks in my mind, so perhaps I'm jaundiced. But the lack of either of them starting at Wigan showed. Granero needs to assert himself more, be more aggressive. I'd go with Faurlin on Sat if I was Harry.

I can see Granero playing right side of a midfield 3, Ale on the left, and M'bia in the middle. That should work well, but Diakite does give more power and speed than Ale at least, which I think is one reason Harry hasn't picked him. The other is that Harry also seems to prefer Derry's bottle to Ale as well. The good news for me is that Harry seemingly has sussed that using Park is almost like playing with 10 men.

Fulham are a very good side with a good manager & should win.
How FcKing lucky are they that clueless taff mug never signed that contract. He could've FcKed them up instead of us. CnT.

well after watching it i don't see too many problems for us on saturday! berb is i bit of a worry good touches & could be a handful but apart from him man for man we have a good chance of picking up our first win & when have we said that before, rodellga well don't give him any free kicks just outside the area hence last season, but i'm pretty confident we can do it & by the way the geordies didn't look too hot either & our next away game, well can we nah one game at a time.
In case you missed the result, Fulham did something we haven't done for nearly 8 months

Can't agree with the OP. I saw Fulham last night and thought they looked pretty good. I fear they will tonk us again......but here's hoping!

Evening HOLT, my old friend.

The rumour is that Hughes was only given a short contract so that Jol could replace him at the end of the season. Jol was always Fayed's first choice, before he turned to Hughes. Sort of similar to Di Matteo and the next big Chelsea manager really (Guardiola, Mourinho etc)

Hello Bandy baby, long time no speak ( not been on your board for awhile for some reason ;)).
Are you visiting us on Saturday?

Unfortunately not. Started a new job two weeks ago in retail (the joy) so days off around Christmas are somewhat rare and should be used only to recuperate via many brewskies. I can say with 95% confidence that QPR will beat us. I think fate has prevented you from winning so far so that you can see us off at Loftus Road. We are generally the team that if a player is going through a goal drought, or the team hasn't won or scored in a while then we are only too kind to provide some tonic.

Well! Somewhat to my surprise (and perhaps shame), I note the bookies believe we are marginally better for the win on Saturday than Fulham! Go Rssss!!
