Fair play to them for keeping going to the end, shows a bit of spirit in the team still at least. Abysmal game until the end though.
A late and somewhat undeserved equaliser doesn't paper over the cracks of what was an utterly dire performance.Four corners and three shots on target against a side over 10 places below us show a complete lack of ambition.Mr Evans when will you realise we are going nowhere and Season ticket sales are going to dip further? Mick out!
I couldn't listen to the match because it was busy at work, didn't miss much by the sound of it. Regardless of the level of investment this summer, something seriously has to change with the quality of football being played.
Sounded like the way Fulham set up was to let us have possession, knowing that we we wouldn't do much with it and they were right, catching us on the break and capitalising on our mistakes. If not for Bart again we would have easily lost this. Yesterday really highlighted our lack of creativity and ability to adapt. Much work to be done over the summer. Doesn't seem like Mick will be leaving any time soon and if that is the case I just hope he sorts that side of our game out.
Rumour has it that Sears is going to Fulham in the Summer which means we lose what little pace we have in the side, that's bloody frightening because I don't suppose the money will be available for new players just more Cart Horses an Donkeys.
Think Sears is a little over rated but as you say the money won't be reinvested so I'd rather keep him tbh.... .....Murph is a spent force too.
Sears was doing fine whilst he had Bishop and McG to supply him balls to feet and when played in the middle last season. Another player made worse by Mick, in my opinion.
Yeah, his problem is he's too short to compete for the balls launched forward to him on a regular basis. He really should try and a grow a bit more the useless b#*$]%d
I have to agree, Sears has been tactically wasted this season. I don't think Mick has made him worse, just not used him to his strengths.
He was awesome for the first few games and then Mick decided to put him as a winger and he hasnt been the same ever since. It's always the players with technical ability who seem to get wasted at the moment
You gotta be having a laugh, he's one of the few players that has entertained and delivered this season!
Well it seems like he's having problem hitting the target now. I would blame that on Mick playing him wide for too long and him getting rusty in front of goal.
