On MOTD now and pretty poor by all accounts, they also have a European game this week to deal with. Could be a good time to play them.

I rate Jol as a manager and after defeat against Wolves, I see us in for a tough game against Fulham.

Think we can pull off a 2-1 win.

  6. I could see it being a 0-0 or a 1-0 to us.

Fulham have a great defense but rarely win away, we also are strong in defense but are lacking a great goal threat at the moment.

However Wolves managed to beat them so i reckon we could also. I sniff a draw but i hope i'm wrong.

The bastard commentators on MOTD2 have set everything up for a very lucky Fulham 1-0 victory next week.
That said it's about time we beat them at home.

Bogey team all reet! I remember a good few years ago when Sourmess was manager, we were at SJP and completely played them off the park, must have had about 80% possession and got beat 4-1???? They hit us on the break 4 times and scored each of them :(

Agreed, that performace was total ****. Unfortunately i went to the game. On the upside i went out on the lash afterwards for a friend of a friend's birthday.

I expect a narrow win for us on Sunday

Our next two home games are against Fulham and Blackburn, two big bogey teams for us over the years...especially at home. We need to win these two in my opinion. If we get a point against QPR and six points against these two then we will have 11 points after 6 games. Not bad at all and anything we get against Villa is a bonus.

Also, as mentioned, Fulham have Europa League on Thursday. And they have to go all the way to Ukraine. So this is the best time to play them!

I just hope we dont throw away points that are their for the taking, like last season. Remember Blackpool at home after Villa 6-0...

Not being negative, just hope we put it in a professional solid 2-0 win. Take the 3 points and f*ck off home.

    :D

I hate Blackburn for this reason. They are **** but they always beat us at our place!!

Everything on paper says we will beat Fulham, which means the opposite will happen :(

Hope we get a new striker in before then. It's a game where a pacey striker could really thrive on, the likes of Ameobi and Ba will always be out muscled by the likes of Hughes and Hangeland. Reckon we could nick it 1-0 though, don't think it'll be a particularly good game mind.

Fulham are a solid side and I think most people on here underestimate them. I think we will struggle to break through their defence, and they will struggle to break through ours. I think it'll be a 1-0 victory but to which teamI don't know.
