What a sorry state that is (for me)

As I have been reminded however, it is a marathon not a sprint

Wow, Captain, you and I are tied even though four of my starting 11 didn't play. Of course, the season is early and I'm sure you'll get a chance to gloat over my rotting numbers at some point.

 

Yeah, your subs came in DR, you only had two non-players in the eleven who counted. Even so, when you put it like that it seems like a poor show from the Cullips.

But I'm happy with my team. As I've said in the discussion above, my 46 could easily have been considerably more if refs had made worse decisions and I'd make better ones. I'm glad to have missed out on the extra 4pts for Bent's disallowed goal, but I'd have happily taken the other 20 points I could have racked up. We're a good team that haven't got up to full speed yet - much like our real life team, I feel.

 

I hear you, Captain. I'm pretty happy with my team, too, though three of my 11 were from Everton and have yet to set foot on grass this season. I went for people I thought were high-quality, but underrated players. I only have one big-name, who indeed came through in spades for me. I wish I'd bought into that Sergio Aguero at ManC. He's going to be a superstar.

 

A slightly slow start for me, sounds familiar as a fulham fan.

Why is it letting me make unlimited free transfers up until friday??? surely that is wrong

 

Woy, there's a message on the website that, because of some technical error occurring last week Friday, the site managers are allowing for, a short time only, a bunch of player changes. Apparently last week the website was overwhelmed on Friday and Saturday as the stragglers tried to get their teams in ... and plenty of people didn't make it.
