Sorry it's taken me so long to publish semi-final results. Here they are:

    Dempsey's Revenge 36
    Tootif 45

    Megson's Barmy Army 46
    McBride's Legion 56

None of the semi-finalists had any players with the doubling letters of I or U, so the scores are the same as the weekly league table. Final to be played in gameweek 30, and the doubling letters are E and J. If only Eddie Johnson was still on Fulham's books. His both letters making his score treble, he could score as many as six points. Well, maybe 3.

I'm a week late with these results - this relates to last weekend's gameweek, not the one currently in play.

the winner of the Alphabeti Spaghetti bowl is... McBride's Legion.

    Final Score Tootif 43 (Enrique's 1pt doubles to 2pts; Dzeko's 2pt doubles to 4pts); McBridge's Legion 50 (Enrique's 1pt the only double on the team).

We all seem to be struggling to maintain interest in this, judging by the lack of comments in recent weeks and my failure to get results up quickly. Shall we not bother with a final cup and just leave things as they are? What do you all think?

To celebrate my winning the Alphabeti Spaghetti bowl
I'm going down to my local supermarket and buy a can
of Alphabet soup, put it on a Plinth, and proudly display it.
    <badger><badger>

I'm up for the next cup....bring it on....

I was still devastated from my first round knock out, Captain. :emoticon-0106-cryin

Anyways, I enjoy these cups. I need a cup run to cover my midtable obscurity in the league!

Gutted, just gutted. Its like Hamburg all over again.

I need revenge and only another cup run can provide that!

I've realised my team has just 3 players this weekend, so it'll be back to the bottom two again with Madness.

To be honest, I've never really recovered from panicking in week two and dumping Demba Ba for his injury in bringing in Shane Long. Those goals would have made a huge difference to my team. :(

Into gameweek 34 and somehow I'm still top of the league. Don't wanna count my chickens and do a Man City but its getting harder and harder to hide my excitement now!

I feel a bit like Newcastle in this league... just realised I'm in 4th, with absolutely no danger of going higher with 4 weeks left, but waiting for the teams around me to start firing!

You'll get your payback in a couple of weeks. All of the teams without a game this gameweek have two matches in gameweek 36.

Once again, I've left this a bit late, but there's just time to squeeze in a final cup competition, as long as we don't need any replays.

The Cottage Cup: past or present Fulham players score double points. In the event of a tied match, only points scored by past or present Fulham players will be counted. If that doesn't separate the teams, the hierarchy of tie-breaks is this (goals scored; assists scored; clean sheets (def or GK only, not midfielders), fewest goals conceded.

First round: gameweek 35 (next week!)
    quarter-final: gameweek 36
    semi-final: gameweek 37
    Final: gameweek 38

I'll post the draw later today, once my sons have woken up to assist me with it.

I want to play next time, not sure why I didn't get involved in the beginning. I feel like I've missed out on something, like not being invited to a family wedding sort of feeling!

Here's the draw for the quarter finals:

    Fulhamyself vs The Dembele Flops
    Cravendale vs Fulhamdad 13
    Dempsey's Revenge vs Europa Dreaming
McBride's Legion vs Megson's Barmy Army

Games to be played this gameweek (starting tomorrow).

As next gameweek runs on into midweek, here's the semi-final draw in advance (Europa League style!)

Fulhamyself or the Dembele Flops vs McBride's Legion or Megson's Barmy Army
Dempsey's Revenge or Europa Dreaming vs Cravendale or Fulhamyself

Semi finals to be played in gameweek 37 at Old Trafford and Villa Park, not Wembley, because I'm a traditionalist. The final will be played at the Cottage, of course, with the trophy presented by the ghost of Alec Stock.
