.. Paulo Sousa too ... I'm just being realistic about foreign owners ... the pantomimes at Chelski, Southampton and Blackburn demonstrate that both patience and loyalty are in short supply ... best run clubs in British football to me are Swansea and Wigan .. they have fantastic Chairmen both ... Dave Whelan reiterates each season that even if Wigan go down Roberto Martinez will keep his job .... and it was Huw Jenkins at Swansea who suggested to one of his players, one Roberto Martinez, that he should hang up his boots and manage the club ... then followed that with Sousa, Brendan Rodgers and now Michael Laudrup - each oif whom has taken the club on knowing that they truly had the support of the Chairman and the Board .... now don't misunderstand me I'm grateful for our owners stepping in - we need their considerable finance if we are going to get back to where I want to be and feel we should, be given our potential (off the pitch as much as on) ...

Why waste 6 months on a man who has showed no sign of knowing what he's doing?

Every Leicester fan is happy with the decision the owners made.

Only Hull fans were depressed with it <laugh>

Perhaps at the time some were sad to see him go, I wasn't, and I doubt any are now! <laugh>

Well it looks like some still are, they seem obsessed with him <laugh>

Amazing what a few days does in football <laugh>

You lost 4-1 in your last game and we won 3-0

I did wonder where you were last week <ok>

No, I think they just like taking the piss out of you after you spout ****e on our board, make big claims and then your team can't deliver. I do actually enjoy seeing Nige fail as he made me endure a lot of boring football whilst being a total **** in interviews, I'd far rather have Bruce at the helm. I was away in Siberia where there's very poor internet connection ... If I'd have been at home and I've made sure to drop by with a friendly "Still above you." though.

He did what he could with your resources.

At our club he's managed to get us playing some of the most exciting and free flowing football in the league with the tightest defence.

With all due respect, he brought some real ****e to City. From his time here it was clear he had an eye for a good defender/keeper but his ability to discover a good attacking/midfield player was fairly poor. Bruce has certainly been more successful in the market with only 1 dodgy signing amongst 7/8 great signings.

Funny how it's Nigel Pearsons fault if he brings in a bad player but Craig Shakespeare's genius when he brings in a good one.

Your most valuable player was brought by Pearson.

Though there were a lot of fans annoyed about Nigel's departure, you won't find a single Hull City fan who'd like to see him return.

If he offered to work for free, pay for all his signings personally and buy every fan a pint before every home game, they still wouldn't want to see him return.

As it turned out, we got the better of the deal. <ok>

    When did I say that?

Nige brought some good players in and some shocking players in, no doubting that. Bruce has made a series of superb signings and only 1 that hasn't gone to plan so far.

I'd say Aluko was our most valuable player, but yes Chester was a great signing but I don't want to start the **** Man Utd link debate again.

Our most valuable player is Aluko.

Doubt that. He's far too injury prone.

Chester would sell for 5m tomorrow according to you lot.

There is no way Aluko would go for anything like that.

    I'd argue with that.

Since Nigel came to us we've improved a hell of a lot more than you have.

I think it's pretty obvious that the accounts released today show why Sven was sacked. He wasted money hand over fist. Nige on the other hand as brought in young players that are assets and we are doing much better. Sousa's brief run was disastrous and we looked like going down in a season in which our target was promotion. I certainly don't think our owners have acting too rashly over either of these two decisions; although I don't think changing your manager too often is a good thing. This is why we need to hold on to Nige no matter what. We should never have let him go before (thanks Mandaric).

Rosie, do you think Bruce will go when Watford win automatic and you lose out in the play-offs to us? <monster>
