That was a terrible performance yesterday. Easily the worst performance under Malky.
Poor performances from virtually everyone against a very ordinary Blackpool team.
We all know we are much better than that. Every team as a off day. My only worry is the team look tired. Lets just hope we can last the pace.
Things are looking tight and a position anywhere in the top 10 is still possible.
We badly need our captain back though.
Whatever happens its been a great season under Malky and can still get better.
No reason to be too down.

Agree there we need to re group after that disaster, fortunately missed all three of Blackpool's goals as Tom needed to leave due to him wearing a pair of daps to the match and frozen foot syndrome, roll on Leicester and lets give them a beating.
Completely off their game as a team. Midfield fell apart and some of the poor passing between them was schoolboy stuff. Miller suffered in front of us and was looking like he did that first half dozen games - all effort and no effect. Whitts is no leader and it showed. Not blaming him personally for that lot, but come back Huds.
I disagree about Blackpool though. I don't think they are a very ordinary team. Under Holloway, they're a force to be reckoned with for anyone in this division and I've watched them play some great stuff this season. They will be in the mix at the end.
After the highs recently, a reverse like this was due. Not the end of the world though.

Got to sat I am not worried that we lost and didn’t play well that happens to every team at some point and ours came against a decent Blackpool team. What has worried me as Hilts pointed out is the fact we look tired recently 2nd half against the saints now this game. Still nothing a few loans to share the burden wont fix.

Each time we've had a set back so far we seem to have come back with a little run. Hopefully they can do it again. Looking really hard for positives, I thought Conway seemed to have some confidence back, more willing to try and go past his man and Mason looked sharper again when he came on. I suppose that underlines the problem that some of the others could do with a rest too.
From the armchair, Blackpool do look a good side but I do believe tired legs more than a dip in form contributed to the loss. Matt Phillips looked pretty good, can see why Malky put an offer in. Liked Ollies comment about our approach for Phillips, "They were a bit ambitious" 
hilts i agree, we didnt play well, but at the same time i said before blackpool offered nothing going forwards for 70 mins, apart from the goals they created virtually nothing, the first half was awful by both teams, but we looked like we would win a poor game til about 15 minutes to go, if we would have we would have said 'winning when your not at your best is a good sign'.
i'm not going to jump to conclusions, alot of average performances out there, but the late goals skewed the reality that neither team really deserved a win

Think Heaton has to be considered. Marsh was at fault for the first goal. I think he was suprised by the quick second effort on goal 2 so I'll let him off not even diving....... The amount of glove he got on the third goal it shouldn't have gone in. It wasn't a great finish.
Stick that on top of the gift he gave to Pompy and we're starting to have a problem.
I though Blackpool were excellent, I said to my wife after 10 mins of the first half "We've got big problems today".
It reminded me of the Brighton game, they pressed us high up the park and our passing fell to bits. They however moved the ball really well. Whitts was poor today by his own high standards, I think we needed a bit more bit in the middle of the pitch. First half Ralls and Whitts were over run, with Gunnar playing a little high up for how the game was going. Did we win a second ball first half?
Not many teams will bring the quality to the CCS that Blackpool did and if they can do that to us they must be looking at a top 2 place.
I think we'll need a couple of bodies in to freshen it up via the loan window or fatigue will probably see us in the playoffs.
As a final thought is it just me or does losing seem twice as bad when it's bl**dy freezing?

I thought Blackpool looked the more likely all game Marsh made a couple of decent saves (undone by gifting the opening goal) and they dragged a 1 on 1 wide.
Absolutely gutted, was sure we were going to get revenge, don't even feel like having a drink and on top of that the mrs wants 6" of ****ing snow shoveled off the drive, what a ****ing weekend

We looked tired yesterday. Too many players off their game but at 1-0 with 10 mins left, should have seen it out (K Phillips…why us?). Mason looked fresh (as with Conway v Pompey) just highlights the need to get some loans in to rest (not replace) key players. I’ve no doubt it was just an off day and MM will get them firing again. Were still in the mix so I don't understand all the negativity going around today (not on here thankfully ) after one league loss in how many games?

Absolutely spot on Stevo. Blackpool sorted us out just like Brighton earlier in the season. Holloway came with a plan and it showed.
I thought they played the right game against us, and we didn't (couldn't?) respond. I thought Malky would shake it up half time - that's probably the first time he's failed.
There are not many teams in the Champ better than Blackpool at winning a game. Yes, they may lose a few games on the way but I had them down for a promo spot very early this season. I thought it would be a playoff win for them like last time they went up, but after yesterday and the way they played down at Southampton, they could even get an auto spot.
Agreed Hilts, it was an overall poor team performance that was the problem and that's what I meant about Malky shaking it up at half time, not just the substitution of Ralls with Mason. He needed to sort the players out who were just not getting it together in the first 45.
Bringing Mason on was a good shout, Ralls seemed a little out of his depth yesterday. That wasn't necessarily his fault, the more experienced players around him were very poor and offered little support. At his age, Ralls will only play well in a confident midfield and it looked far from that.
Malky has been rightly lauded for his team "work ethic" principles and the demands he puts on his players to perform for each other. Yesterday he didn't work his magic for the first time. Brighton at the start of the season was perhaps too early for us, yesterday we were outplayed and although it hurts to say so, maybe outmanaged by Holloway.

Bad day at the office guys,last season your heads went down after this type of loss,but your mentally tougher now,so i think its just a blip ok
