I agree with you. I was having a go at those who were spouting that Ayre could not negotiate as that was just stupid! I've been trying to rationalise the situation. The only answer that I can come up with is that Rodgers really does want to use all of his 'grace' period and is therefore not really interested in a top 6 place this season.

Signs not looking too good eh billy :/ Yanks.... Just looking at the quality that Tottenham brought in, Swansea, QPR, Sunderland, Southampton, teams with nothing special on us that we could acutally use, it is frustrating. Infuriating actually. Worried that FSG have their hands, heads, and hearts in too many things right now, Red Sox are struggling and just made a crazy kind of deadline day trade as well ( check it out).
