Stop making excuses, all three were signed whilst Rafa was in charge. If Rafa didn't pick these players then he can't take credit for the other as he clearly wasn't in charge of transfer activities. Or vice-versa. You can't pick and chose which deals to give him credit for.
Aquilani & Keane were both Benitez signings & they were both mince. He signed about 250 full backs didn't he, I remember he had a fondness for buying a ****e full back & then swapping them out, to buy another ****e full back.
He also signed Aurelio, Arbeloa and Johnson. Of course we can't forget the might Dossena too, he could score against Man Utd and Real Madrid ,ok>
