Look at Tom Cairney. TC looked great in the PL but has been dire in the championship. It happens its called football and some are more suited to one league more than another. Prozzer needs someone like Kevin Davies alongside him to take the pressure. We have not yet played to Prozzers strengths. I bet Nick would not have missed 2 one on ones @ Wolves on tuesday. Look at his you tube goals and how he scores. I think SB will give him until January unless he gets a good offer in the summer. TWT.

He doesn't. Guess work just because NP has been sat on the bench of late. We shall see though what the summer brings.

    Could not agree more.

Also agreed. Fryatt showed on tuesday he is not match fit.

Time for Nick Proschwitz to start and do the bizz. Lets have some german efficiency for a change.

Want to put your money where your mouth is, £50 says Nick Proschwitz will be playing for another club next season.

    Only £50 ? ffs.

I also never said NP would not be elsewhere next season. Just dont agree with your **** comments. Nick has not been given a fair chance imo and tonight would have been a good time for another - maybe his last ??

    But as always TWT.

100% agree with this. That's because he wouldn't have got himself into the position to have two one-on-ones because he's not good enough. Simpson however does have the burst of pace needed to get into those positions.

He's not an impact sub, he's our best striker, if he wasn't fit he wouldn't be on the bench.

That final comment is absolutely ridiculous. Proschwitz has started 5 games and Simpson has started more than half our games.

You judge players off 5 games? Because someone isn't great in their first season doesn't mean they're ****.

Agreed. OLM has a stupid way of assessing players. The championship is not an easy league to play in. Nick P. SHOULD BE GIVEN imo another season. History is linked with many who failed at first. In saying that, If Nick thinks he is out of his depth and wants to go then fine. But i would like to see Nick Proschwitz given more time.

I saw 23 of the 25 league games that he played in and I judge him on those 25 appearances, which, Ipswich apart, were poor.

Bruce obviously feels the same, as his last league start was six months ago.

He'll be gone in the summer.

On Proschwitz, it's not just that he hasn't scored goals, it's his all round game. His touch is shocking, he's awful in the air, displays no strength when on the ball and during games his finishing is often very wayward. Essentially, everything we hoped he'd bring to the table, he is terrible at. I'd love to say he just needs to settle in but I'd be lying, I don't think it's going to happen for him. He's shown incredibly brief glimpses, Orient away being the obvious example and in the shooting exercises the team do prior to games kicking-off, he often places his finishes well, but that is as close to complimenting him as I can go.

On Fryatt, I really like him and think he's a top striker at this level, but anyone at both the Ipswich & Wolves games will have seen he is not back to being a quick-minded, quick-footed striker yet. I know the only way he may get back to that is game time but i wouldn't give him that when we need the points now to put the promotion race to bed. I'd start Boyd & Simpson.

I think Proschwitz has been a bit unlucky this season, the games he's played in that I've seen have coincided with a bad team performance, i am willing to accept that he may be partly responsible for that but i still would really like to see him play when the teams playing well, balls been whipped in for him to get on the end of them, and nobody playing long balls up to him as we have seen enough to know that despite his height he is no target man for balls in the air. He has shown each time I've seen him good technique and he can hold up play when the ball is passed to his feet.

Well The Prozzer will be back after the 3rd May when Barnsley finish there season, so will be free to join the squad for Hopefully Hull City at Wembley again in the FA Cup Final. With Long and Jelavic cup-tied Prozz can force his way onto the bench. Goals win matches. <ok>

Both can also play a part in any europa league campagne next season as well. imo.

I'd love it if we got to the final, its 0-0 against Arsenal, Bruce brings on Prozzy and he scores the only goal in the 90th minute, he'd be a Hull Legend

Specially if an Arsenal defender came within close proximity of him, the cross comes in whipped low and the breath of the Arsenal defender on Prozzy's back sends him tumbling. Mid roll his arse connects with the ball and he arses in the winner to beat the Arse in the FA cup final.

    That would truly be something.

Aye, first time a team was disqualified for playing an ineligible player in the Final.

He's on a long term loan at Barnsley, that means he can't play for us until we're allowed to sign players again (when the transfer window opens at the end of OUR season) as they have his registration until then.
