Miles off the top 8??? wtf?? Ok so the top 6 is City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and Man Utd....any they above us? Yes, clearly. But which other teams form the top 8? West Ham? Leicester? Palace? Villa? ....none of those teams are in any way ahead of us in terms of squad or talent.
Yes Miles off look at the squad it's thread bare and we've already seen 2 or 3 injuries result in nufc playing cannon fodder. Where are newcastle today? 11th Nufc have an 11 that can compete with the top 8 which is why I keep saying squad... The squad is weak.
Yes we're 11th, and by the same argument, Liverpool are 7th. We've played 6 games. Cannon fodder? What the team that took the leader against Liverpool and only lost with the last kick of the game? Or the team that were denied a victory on Saturday by a VAR decision that the officials have admitteded was wrong? Just about every team apart from City can be rocked by injures - look at what what happened to Liverpool without Van Dyke, or imagine Spurs without Kane, Man U without Fernandez , or teams like Brighton or West Ham losing any key player.
I've explained my position mate the squad is weak and we will get injuries throughout the season. Let's not forget it's a season of extra fixture congestion before and after the world Cup All I originally said was that it'll take another 2 transfer windows which is hardly an unreasonable thing to say.
