The reason Burnley are so poor this year is because they sold us two of their best players from last year and the other two went to Bolton. Imagine if you took Ricky, lallana, Cork and Fonte out of our team....

Davis

Fox
Hooiveld
Seaborne
Richardson

De Ridder/ Holmes
Schneiderlin
Hammond
Chaplow

Guly
Connolly/ Barnard

Not bad...

It just proves that it's consistency that wins through in this division and it was a big plus to not play well last night and come through. There is no rest bite in the fixtures between now and the new year so all the squad is going to have to contribute.

The next 6 games are tough and anyone can beat anyone. I'd be ok with us picking up 3 wins from that which should keep us in the top 2. Then Nigel will no doubt be given resources to get in a couple of players which can help push us on for the 2nd half of the campaign.

For me Cardiff, Leeds, Blackpool & Leicester represent the big threats that are capable of stringing results together

Through Birmingham in there as well, and I agree.

The likes of Hull and Boro will be there or thereabouts when it comes to a play-off place, but I don't see them threatening the top 2 come the end of the season.
