Its not about doing badly or not, its about putting the effort in. Our fans are intelligent enough to realise the players have been taking the piss all season. We will support a bad team trying its best, we will not support the highest paid players in our history pissing about and looking worse than yeovil or Doncaster.
We're obviously in the play-offs, all we then need is two wins and a draw (or even a loss for that matter) and we're back! If we can't manage that with the wages the players are on we simply don't deserve it. Offer them massive win bonuses if that's what's needed, time to get your wallet out Tony, what's a few hundred grand when you're wasting your millions on those rubbish F1 cars.
Good of you to admit you were wrong - but 99% of non-Burnley fans were like you and thought we would fall away. As for me, I am amazed at what Sean Dyche and our wafer-thin squad have achieved this season. When we sold Austin to you and lost Paterson to Huddersfield on a free, we did not replace either, I - and the majority of BFC fans - thought we would do well to finish mid-table. I've followed BFC for 40-odd years and this group of players are the best TEAM since the 1972/73 team that got promoted with QPR. It looks like we will go up but we will probably lose Ings, Trippier and maybe even Dyche before we get relegated this time next year. But at least the £120 million will allow us to remain a stable Championship outfit for a few more years. The best we can hope for is to be a yo-yo team but that will get increasingly more difficult. The play-offs are a lottery but QPR have a tight defence and that usually pays dividends. It did for Palace last year (0 goals conceded in 3 games) and us in 2009 (0 goals conceded in 3 games). Maybe Austin will grab the winner for you at Wembley in a tight 1-0 May the best team win the play-offs (we might be in them still).
A good and timely post, unfortunately it should never ever be needed! As a long serving and suffering QPR supporter, this to me is a pretty good season, but nowadays something seems to have taken over most of our fans and turned them in to moaning boars, but worse still, some seem to turn their back on truly supporting the team because they don't like a player, or rednapp. While I can understand that we haven't played well this season and that rednapp has done his best to make himself unpopular, these aren't reasons to turn on the team or club. I remember when some truly bad players were turned in to heroes simply because fans got behind them, I am of course thinking if Devon White, who was bad, I mean really bad, but with the stadium screaming "Bruno" and getting behind him, this lifted him and he started scoring, more luck than judgement admittedly, but it showed how we as fans were at QPR, it didn't matter who they were even how bad they were, they wore the shirt and that was enough. Now I know that a lot of players have not really deserved support due to their lack of effort or respect for the club, but it now seems that a bad performance or bad run for a player means they get slated. Maybe if fans weren't so fickle they might see that a bit of support can go a very long way to lifting a player. But get on their back and you're pretty much insuring that a bad patch never ends. This is just my opinion, but I've seen the overall support of our club turn from realistic stalwarts, to moany bastards. It's not pretty, but what's more, it's a real shame. Don't let the past effect how we support the club in the present. So I certainly agree with Beth, I just think that's how it should be, win lose or draw! Premier league or the blue sq.
Bang on Beth I will be there until the end 15 points to play for and more importantly form to gain I don't agree however it will all be forgotten if we were to win the play offs... We need a new team again and new ideas ... That is not progress
Good man! If you can be there you got to support the team the wole game, singing and shouting encouragement. If you going to just shout abuse you shouldn't go - shout your abuse at your wall in Oslo, Portsmouth, Oxford, Peru or wherever!
To be realistic we aren't in the Play offs yet, and on our present form and the way we have been playing, we could still manage to miss out on them. The home games with Millwall and Watford are local derby's and never easy games to win, especially when Millwall will probably be in desparate need of points, as will Barnsley probably. Forest will be desparate too as Watford may still be, to make the Play-offs. It almost makes away to Leicester away our easiest game left, but er where were Leicester again in the table`? F**K

Agreed but lets not be negative as Beth says we have players coming back, plus the addition of morrison, Charlie coming back will give the whole team a lift !
I'll be there on Saturday and cheering the team on as usual. Good OP Beth. I actually think that our "big-time-charlies" may be well suited to the bigger games in the play offs...........much more so than a wet Tuesday night in Barnsley!!
So I have got my gear out...the shirt that says _eth 50, the StanBowles legend T shirt underneath. I have planned my Saturday. I am POSITIVELY ready. Bring on tomorrow. Come on u Rrrs, come on u SuperHoopers..
I am ready for Wembley. I've booked the flights and counting the days. Let's be 'aving ya! Derby, Wigan, Reading or whoever, Charlie and Ravel will be unstoppable... watch out because we're ready!
