There's been a lot of classic British fights mate, they all meant the same to the lads in the ring. I can never say one was better than the other, they were all must see at the moment. One fight I would have loved to have seen that never happened was Azumah Nelson against Barry Mcguigan. Nelson for me was probably the best of an era and like me, dual handed..
I believe DeGale is the next nominated challenger for the IBF belt but cannot see Froch taking that. He'll be after one last big pay day so will try the USA imo. Like you say Groves v DeGale would be tremendous and another slugfest hopefully.
Enjoy mate, wish I was there to share a beer , for the record and only because I was somewhat involved in the build up was Mark Kaylor against Errol Christie as my favourite British fight probably followed by Kirky against Colin Jones.
Couldn't think of a bigger anti-climax for Froch than to step into the ring with James DeGale. Froch's angling for a Vegas fight, but I don't see Vegas getting excited about him. Hearn will need to work wonders to get him headlining in Vegas, maybe he'll end up on an under card in a Mayweather fight, against maybe Julio Cesar Chaves Jr, not a big enough fight to headline in Vegas, he won't get Ward again.
