Crazy to stop it. It was the first time he'd looked in trouble all fight but he wasn't taking a barrage of punches. He was hitting back, his gloves were up and he'd just about fought his way out of it.

He may well have been out of it if froch landed one more big punch but call it then. Don't call it because you don't think he can take another big hit.

Criminal decision and cost groves a world title. Froch won't give him the honour of a rematch because groves gave him a boxing lesson in the first 7 rounds. It was only groves over confidence (something that could have been addressed when he returned to his corner at the end of round 9 if the ref wasn't such a prick) that let froch back in the fight in the first place.

Not sure why groves let it turn in to a punch up when he'd out boxed froch from the very first round.

think froch was allowed to do that by the **** ref, with elbows, forearms and rabbit punches tbh throughout

Hearn sold out Froch after the fight, you could see how pissed off Froch was getting with him. I'd be surprised if Froch doesn't ditch his as his promoter now in a way to avoid the rematch. Froch should probably go ahead and retire now, he's come out of this fight with no credit for me and this fight showed him for what he is, a crap boxer but good in a scrap. He can take a beating which is why he's been as successful as he has been. Ward showed him for what he is and always has been, he's a bottler who didn't have the sack to get in the ring with Calzaghe. Yet he'll run his mouth around as if he's beaten them all. Too many boxers like this nowadays, I don't think Groves needs that rematch now to be honest he'll probably get the world fights he wants anyway.
