A bit ironic & perhaps a bit painful, Kissa, but how about "You'll-never-beat-a-vauxhall". (Can't remember the model - substitute it for 'vauxhall'). Apologies in advance!
TC I lost my phone so my access to twitter has been limited feel like I lost an arm haha I will make a poll of the best suggestions and we can go from there
Yes, Kissa, perhaps time for a change. I think I'm inspired by your old chum Stan on the radio the other night. How about 'he hit that like you hit Ulrika'?
True about Spuds not bothered to give us a bit of a dig, they are as incredulous as we are at what's happening to our club. Is the GFH sale Bates' revenge? He gets a stack of dosh by over valuing the club, and knows the new owners haven't a penny left to spend on the team. Gradel surely is a non starter, Lucky going is tragic - especially the manner in which the club is discrediting such a good servant.
Press Association Sport understands it is Becchio's preference to remain at Elland Road, but this is not the first time Leeds' fans have seen their leading player go through a transfer saga. In recent windows, Jermaine Beckford, Max Gradel, Jonny Howson and Robert Snodgrass have all moved on. Such moves led supporters to protest against then owner Ken Bates for a perceived lack of investment and Becchio's situation means GFH Capital are now facing similar accusations. Warnock, though, is keen to stress that Becchio is looking at things from a financial point of view rather than an ambition one. "I've had a chat with him and what we said remains private," he said. "He was a late starter in professional football and he feels at the moment, that the opportunities he will get abroad, and the type of figures he's been given, he will have security for life.
elland you gonna do a poll for me of the best username suggestions and we will see which one I get left with?
Leeds boss Neil Warnock was keen to sign midfielder Ross Barkley from Everton in the summer but he missed out to Sheffield Wednesday, joining them on loan for the first half of the season. Warnock was determined not to miss out again after Sheffield Wednesday boss Dave Jones revealed he could not compete with Leeds for the young England under 21 midfielder, with Leeds being able to offer him more in wages. Speaking in the Sheffield Telegraph, Jones said, "We were interested in Ross Barkley, but all of a sudden we got outmanoeuvred by Leeds because they could pay closer to what he earned than we could.
