I'm simply doing what I always do, commenting on what I see in front of me, and I see a reasonably solid, hard-working team with absolutely no flair or creativity at all. The "marquee signings" are obviously going to be 2 strikers we don't actually need, but people will lap it up because they love it when people sign strikers. Varney being Snoddy's replacement should tell you everything you need to know.
@ Doc -Everyone is entitled to an opinion mate and I am not optimistic about next season but I don't think those that are optimistic are fooking numpty material, they are still LUFC supporters even though I admit sometimes a few get on my tits but we all want the same thing, we just have a difference of opinion If/When the T/O materialises and NW has some cash to spend my expectation level will increase, if/when NW buys some 'icing on the cake' players it might as well. However if the icing is Maynard and sell McCormack I will still feel a little flat.
quick question why would warnock join a club selling its best players and bringing in average players? did he gamble on a takeover? or is he just in it for the money?
