We need to see him play as a centre back I think. Agree he doesnt look the part but he handled the role very successfully in League 2 which is full of bruisers who would have gave him a tough time

He doesnt have the look of a centre half, he hasnt the build.

    No pace
    poor in air
    not that tall
    not very strong.

I hope he proves me wrong, just dont see anything i him

he's actually taller than Bromby, Kissa & O'Dea

probably faster, less error prone but with the ability to correct any mistakes, plus he's only a young lad who will improve

Clayton has proved me wrong, but probably has with most.

And lees taller than kissa and odear ????

I really think he looks poor and cant see how he can improve that much

Lees will be a top centre half. He has the outlook and attitude of a real winner and you can see it really pisses him off when we concede. This season he is being blooded in which will do him the world of good, and next season we will see a very good player at the back for us with a great future ahead of him.

Woodgate was a streak of piss but did alright. Chris Perry was tiny for a CB but was international class with his reading of the game.

OB is built like a traditional CB but is ****ing ****, so I`m not going down the 'how he looks' road.

We'll have to disagree on this one, just don't see much potential in the lad, dont see what he's got in his locker.

    As always, hope am wrong

    Phil

Woody looked raw, but even at 18, was very good.

Chris perry was very good at reading the game but was very quick, lees isnt.

lees isnt has inexperienced as many make out, dont see the improvement

Wakey, I dont think anyone thought Clayton would be the player he is. Fair enough a few defended him but there's no chance anyone thought he would improve this much whilst out on loan <ok>

I thought he looked good in last home reserve match of last season, played like he does for us now. Then saw him in ore season v rochdale and he looked a right bottler so told everyone around me he would never make it.

    Idiot Phil strikes again.
