Think we need an old head in there to be honest. Would take Bowyer & Frings, wouldnt gamble on either woody or smith with there injury records but if they remained fit I am sure they would stand out in the championship
if west ham, cardiff, reading etc had off been linked with these players guarantee their fans wouldn't be complaining, some off us need to get a grip, these players are players that other championship teams could only dream to be linked with age is only a number!! we only need 1 good season from these guys to get us back to the PL, then we can sign the players some of you's want to sign now
Er..... what world are you living in? Leeds United stopped being a team that people 'dream of playing in' for the last 5 years or more mate. No offence meant like and I love Leeds but if players are happier playing for some lowly North West team (Blackpool, Wigan, and many other falsely inflated football clubs) then what bleedin chance have we got? Add into that the Papa Smurf Soapbox Special and would you want to play for Leeds United? I would but I'd last a week until I told Uncle Bulgaria to go and do one, get on with finding investment and stop bleating on the Radio about matters that your ranting only purports to inflame and worsen. What a prize monkey. If I was to sit around on the computer at work typing on not606 or something then I'd probably get the sack.....hang on...... Mother flippers. Time to run.....
That's not what he was saying, he was saying other club's fans would love for their club to be linked with these players.
I see what you are both alluding to but I think it is much of a muchness and ultimately semantics. Other teams in the championship ARE linked with these kind of players that is the point. Re: West Ham & Nolan. So to say they dream/we dream/he dreams/she dreams/you dream whatever. The main point being that WE TOO are the dreamers. Peas
Bradley Johnson and Killkenny have left leaving gaping holes next to Howson in Midfield. We do tend to play a 4-3-3 or if you like 4-5-1 formation which cries out for a midfielder who can sit in front of the centre halfs allowing the likes of Gradel, Sam and Howson to get forward and support Beccio/McCormack and the like. Smith/Bowyer or Frongs (if fit) would be great for this role but wage demands will mean we only get one and I for one would plump for Bowyer.
I dunno that this report is bollocks to be honest. It's uncharateristic of the Times to just make up a complete bollocks story like Frings to Leeds, one of those where it's so farfetched it seems true, especially when you factor in the fairly reliable paper it's printed in. And Frings has publicly said he's happy to leave the Bundesliga, says New York's his dream destination but it's doubtful he'll go there as the Red Bulls have to adhere to a very strict salary cap, being in the MLS and all that.
