100% agree, there is possibly an element of him not being used to play so many games. But we have options, play Batth or Warner. Duffy has been responsible for a lot of the issues, either stepping out of position, or backing off and allowing players to shoot, not to mention losing the ball and own goals
Down to 17th as result stand at this minute We are just lucky that the bottom 3 look even more horrific than us
All the desire that was there for the first 5 or games looks completely gone. Duffy looks shocking and yet plays every minute every week, Sara and McLean to me look like they are struggling having to play full 90s every week - they don’t look sharp, Rowe is carrying this team at the moment. Hwang looked better today but made some really poor decisions at times.
NCFC disintegrated under Wagner at the end of last season. New(ish) squad and now NCFC are disintegrating again under Wagner.
Thought both Hwang (7.3) and Fisher (7.2) justified their starts and hopefully the goal and assist will boost their confidence. Rowe (6.5) looked good again, but Sara and McLean have dropped off hugely, looking fairly anonymous now and that hurts us. Forshaw had a poor first half and was rightly subbed. Both Sainz and Hernandez brought some skill and battling spirit but the penalty killed the game.
Comments by Wagner. Norwich boss David Wagner says his players are being "mentally affected" by their struggles but believes he is the man to reverse their fortunes. Sunderland came from behind to beat City and end a three-match losing streak, while Norwich have now lost six of their last eight - taking one point from their past five Championship games. Wagner told BBC Radio Norfolk: "It looks like the guys are getting mentally affected by the situation which we face. "I absolutely think I can change that. It's my job to change it and it's my job to find solutions."
