Out, don't care what it says about keeping it in the fridge, it's a sauce that goes on hot food so why you want it cold for.

Plus ketchup takes so long to go off you'll use it by the time it goes bad..

Once when I was a kid asked my Gran (god bless her) if we she'd get ketchup in for when we visit.

Fast forward to next time and there it is on the table with a big smile from Granny.

Have to admit my heart sank a little when I saw we were having cold ham salad as a sort of Sunday tea

These things should tell you how long they last unopened and how long when opened.
The **** with the fridge is just nonsense, if you buy a bottle of tomato sauce and want it to last a year you obviously don't like it very much, just leave it in the shop.
