Stick/Bustino: You having a bet on Harry's Moviesta in the Nunthorpe? Think I will have a small wager, mustn't let the side down. The going's changed so hope the high draw (favourable yesterday on the fast ground) will still be OK....ROTO tips it so must be in with a chance! <ok>

I'm triple handed in the Nunthorpe and will probably still have a zero return!

Win on Shea Shea and ew's on Rosdhu Queen at 22-1 and Spirit Quartz at 16-1

Well done Oddy in the Comp .... 2 winners from 3 runners so far for Bet 35 :)

All over Shea Shea here - very confident bet, was unlucky at Ascot as was clearly on the wrong side. The July cup 6 furlong was too much for him but back over a flat 5f I strongly believe he will blow all these away.

I completely agree Shea Shea could make a mockery of his price here! I have had a silly but very small EW on Miss Lahar at 100/1 too, I'm aware it should have no chance but I've put it up a few times without success and the one time I missed it, obviously it won so just can't leave it un backed today however remote its chances are

    Hello lads.

Interesting maiden there at HQ and a shock result...decent run from todays blueblood Almuhalab but I'm going to take a couple from the race from the pack...Istikshaf ran on really nicely and Crafty Exit faded but ran much better than his finishing position suggests.

These races are effictively hands and heels schooling events nowadays and are far from attractive punting opportunities as long as the authorities continue to turn a blind eye.

I've backed Sole Power in the Nunthorpe, Johnny Murtagh is the best jockey for him.

Jwala was a shock winner of the Nunthorpe like Sole Power was in 2010! Form book thrown out the window!

Trott plum on first delivery from the new ball playing across the line.

The bowling team only have 25/30 overs to get wickets before the ball turns to mush on a flat pitch.

With the dreadful weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning, punters looking at the York card for Saturday should find something with feet like dinner plates as it is going to be Soft; and I will not be backing anything.

Last time it ran, I backed hat-trick seeking Chancery when it was strongly fancied and ran like a drain. Today at York it is heavily gambled and wins quite readily.

I cannot wait for September. August has been a nightmare – they only win when I leave them alone (like Ahzeemah in the Lonsdale Cup).

At Goodwood, the winner Jwala banged her head leaving the stalls and, according to connections on Ch4, sustained an eye injury. Apparently, something was amiss with Moviesta today as his jockey reported that he played up at the stalls and was never going.

Think Mulholland will have some explaining to do after the last at Ffos Las...<whistle>

They tried this before with the horse over fences when backed into 2/1 but it didn't come off...made up for it today!

Serious draw bias at Newcastle...as usual.
