Picpoul de Pinet, which I think I mentioned on the review thread, is slipping down alarmingly fast. Because it's very tasty. Found a good £8 version called Henpecked which is the current house white.

Love picpoul it's just so south of France......

Wouldn't rush out for the chardonnay we had tonight it was OK but nowt special. File in the drunk for effect only category.....

We used to call it loopy soup.

My pal had a hilariously confused conversation in a pub in Dublin once. A local mentioned the ESB (meaning Electricity Supply Board) and my mate thought he meant the beer. The conversation went something like this:

My Mate: We have that in our pub.
Puzzled Local: Yes, you would have.
MM: We don't touch it though.
PL: Well no, you shouldn't, it's dangerous.
MM: I know! It's powerful alright.
PL: We had three people killed last year.
MM: I know! Terrible stuff!

Both went away scratching their heads.

Brilliant.....

Probably my favourite tipple in earth, closely followed by ESB.

Here in the Province of New Brunswick the state run liquor corporation have chosen to de-list Fuller's London Pride, ESP and London Porter that were all recently available. I note all three beers are very well reviewed and rated on the Beer Advocate website:-

https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/71/222/

https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/71/219/

https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/71/221/

Now they do list 3 bottles of Fuller's Vintage Ale 2016 for the entire Province, and if their inventory is any good, two of those bottles are located a 5 min drive from me. (so obviously this Fuller's beer is on the way out too, and myself to try and hunt them down).

Also very well reviewed:-
