It's been more like Autumn here today, gale force winds, chilly, heavy rain, high seas.......so what better way to start the weekend with a quaffing thread.......

Just cracked open a very quaffable Pinot Grigio from Italy, ideal whilst finishing of some payroll work!!!!!

Cheers all and here's to a win tomorrow, Up The R's

You're a bad influence, Tramore. I would normally have left it til a bit later, but I've just opened a bottle of Chilean sauvignon blanc.

It's only 8.50pm here in Toronto and me and Mrs Nines are just about to have a couple of glasses of chilled Pinot Grigio. It's a nightmare getting a drink here, they don't sell it in the usual shops like in England. You have to go to a specialist wine store which only sells wine. I don't have a clue where you'd buy beer or spirits for home consumption if you don't want to sit in a bar and get ripped off. $10 a pint + tax + gratuity.

Cheers Junior. We should be home on Wednesday afternoon all things being well. It's been a great trip, especially Washington DC. New York was hard work but good and Toronto's alright but a bit boring. We only came here as we have family here and they have an annual family BBQ/Party which is this weekend.

That inclement weather moved up through Ireland last night Tramore. Dublin Airport this morning was blowing a gale. My flight was delayed over an hour. Knew it was going to be a bumpy ride when the plane was all over the shop as we sat on the tarmac. Gasping for a pint now.
