RV I've added similar comments to his Under the Spotlight column. You get the impression though, as was the way with So You Think people will always make excuses for the horse and you'll never see the words 'he was beat fair and square'...

  3. AZURINTA at 12/1 looks a nice EW bet, run soff a tidy mark and has been shoiwng signs of winning an event like this

SAILORS WARN, SAILORS WARN, SAILORS WARN. VERY KEEN ON HIM

Also I backed Mon Parrian (though frustratingly at 7-2 at about 5.00. Was biggest price at time, now Laddies are 5s, its with B365 so BOG but if I'd a waited till tomorrow morning would a been bigger)

Sailors Warns form looks rock solid after that win for Steps To Freedom today <ok>. I like Mon Parrain as well but not sure if he is a bet or not at the price, will decide tomorrow. I Will probably end up backing a few over the 20/1 mark. Poquelin is certainly a bet at 28/1 and also interested in Araldur 20s and Quantativeeasing at 22s. Will work out in the morning which ones I am backing

  7. Cheers RV, Missed out on everything today due to Armistice Day, but worth the sacrifice. Just looking at the last two at Wolverhampton. In the last i like the look of the Hollinshead trained POPPETS JOY 14/1, her only run on AW at Wolverhampton LTO in a maiden event saw her fade going into the last furlong.. She steps up to Handicap company today, however, i dont think it would take much to win this. The winner of that maiden race went on to Handicap Company next time out and was unlucky in running and went close against some decent handicappers.

Yeah RV it's a wee bit of a pinsticker race but can't see Mon Parrian out of the fray as long as his jumping holds up. I'd rate Wishfull Thinking as his main danger but as you say there's a right few you can make a good case for! He'll be floating around 9-2 tomorrow by the look of things fella so he's a solid e/w investment in my opinion!

Sailors Warn gave STF half a stone the last day they met so I really think he's up to beating Unaccompanied on these terms, though I'm glad she's there to create a decent price for SW. He'll be my main bet of the day probably.

What'll be your nap do you reckon?

Thought Mon Parrain looked the real deal last season so it would be lovely too see him win tmz <ok> I agree he should be in the places at least

think I will have a dabble on Sailors Warn <ok>. Really hard racing tomorrow - NAP probs OZETA in the opener at Cheltenham. Very tricky though as Nicholls horse is highly regarded

Yeah bit of hype about Hinterland but that's what I said about Kauto Stone and he lived up to it last week with consummate ease <laugh>

Take it easy lad, going to watch the footy!
