Completely random, but Kenny Baker is from Birmingham, so here's a bit of the D2!

I love his version of All Along The Watch Tower.

He should really stick to be a rock guitarist then making music with poptarts like Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.

Same. I would say I'm competent with a guitar, but to try that was an idiotic idea.

Here is Mayor's version of All Along The Watch Tower.

I think the 'easiest' Hendrix song to learn is Purple Haze.

I've notice that Justin Guitar has been doing some really cool lessons lately. ACDC, Neil Young, SRV, Clapton and Dire Straits in the last couple of months.

I'd say Fire was the easiest Hendrix song. it was for me anyway. I can play that, Purple Haze, Wind Cries Mary, Crosstown Traffic and Hey Joe. Haven't tried any of the others as I don't dare.

If I'm going to try have a proper go at learning Hendrix I need to improve my Hendrix barre chord grip.

I would say the song I'm probably best at is Girlfriend in a Coma by The Smiths. First song I ever learnt.

Most of the songs I can play are Smiths/Marr songs.

Yeah, I wouldn't try until you've improved your barre chord grip.

As it happens,iv'e just had my Vintage SG set up by Antones on Bev rd. I'm blown away at what he's done for it. Plays like a real Gibson. The best £26 iv'e ever spent. Ernie Ball Slinkies thrown in !

If I play Hendrix style I use triads so I can embellish major triads into Sus2, Sus4 and minor chords. But they don't sound as full as the full Hendrix style barre chord.

I have Vintage Les Paul I got from Cash Converters for £80. Really good guitars. Especially the Wilkinson Pick Ups.

I've started just restring mine guitars with Rotosound R10's, but they're too trebley for me. The last time I restrung I used D'Addario XL . The next time I'm going to give the Slinkies ago.

My SG was £80, my Fender amp £50 and like i say, that set up £26. An absolutely cracking rig for £156. Slinkies are great strings.
