If you want to have an argument, **** off somewhere else and stop disrupting the thread you pedantic prick. Christ. Robert Plant, the singer and main member of Led Zeppelin, is from the Midlands. I suppose to you this thread has to have people and bands solely only from the Midlands, not anyone else... Thanks for the response. I won't bother with them.
Not being pedantic. Just, unlike you, correct. There is no are in the USA known as the Midlands, it is an area of England. The word ending lands would be a clue to anyone with observational skills. Maybe I will post an Abba number as some of them were from the middle of Sweden.
Technically there is a Midlands in South Carolina and Kentucky, but I'll let you off as you aren't the sharpest blade in the drawer. Fancy posting some music on this music thread?
Cliff Richard was from India. Were him and the Shadows an Indian band? Plant didn't do anything in the Midands connected with the Midlands. Led Zeppelin were formed in London. Quill, the thread is entitled" Midlands music". Where do you think the people and bands should be from then? Should we stick in something by the Stones, Beatles, Animals?
No, because none of their members are from the Midlands... Just for you, here's another. Lemmy of Motorhead was from Staffordshire. I'll ask again though. Fancy posting some music on this music thread?
That's more like it. Best Midlands band of all. In my opinion.i have two particular memories of Spencer Davis Group. One was Keep On Running was the last record played before the Boxing .day game against Millwall. The second one was seeing them live the night that England won the World Cup. What a day. Another track by them. We may have had better 16 year olds fronting bands. I haven't seen the though.
