Evening peeps! The price of this Mouldy has got me thinking.

Whaddya recon to us changing The Hinge from a pub to a ......

    Church!

We could call it the Our Lady Of The Consumption. As part of our religious beliefs, a love for beer and football is mandatory....our Reasoning (like ganja to a Rasta).

More importantly, by becoming founding members/pastors of The Church Of The Our Lady Of The Consumption.....we become TAX EXEMPT!!!

CHEAP BEER, SKY, MATCH TICKETS, TRAVEL (missionary service to places like Romania, Old Trafford) ETC....It's a winner <party><cheers><cheers>

    I like it

The Church of Our Lady Of The Consumption and St Michael :D

As a non-exempt church, we only need to register if we have total donations of over £5k per annum (of which, I am sure we would achieve due to the number of fellow like minded "believers").
We could then "agree" a monthly donation amount to maintain our individual memberships to the church (made by each member by direct debit by gift aid, hence tax exempt including income tax exempt from the donator). The church is then able to buy everything "we need" to practice and claim back all tax :)

Instead of The Sign Of The Cross, we could do a breastroke motion and a chant of some sorts.

I am still waiting to meet these two mythical characters Daiswan and Dilligaf. Do these exist or are they just urban legends meant to frighten young children and people of a nervous disposition <whistle>

No religion to be discussed in The Hinge. I'm disappointed in the last lot of ale we had delivered. So I've gone back to the brewery and will replenish the cellar with our old favourites.
