Ticks a lot of my boxes too. Great prog rock and a nautical/whaling theme. Since hearing it in 71 I have read and watched everything I could about the wreck of The Essex. Incredible story of hunted turned hunter. Can recommend the recent film of the story "In the Heart of the Sea.
A night to remember for me. Was working in London and a great fan of the New Musical Express. Appearing with the Beatles were a cavalcade of stars including, The Rolling Stones,the Moody Blues, the Searchers, Herman's Hermits, the Seekers,Dusty Springfield , Cilla Black, the Kinks and the Animals. Have never been to a more talent filled event since.
