Hull have fallen afoul of a rule that requires the club to consult with both the league and it's own supporters before any name change can be pushed through, apparently.
The can call themselves whatever they like, but they're still Hull City FC as far as everyone official is concerned. Bit of a balls up.

The odd thing is that Hull's rugby league club, who they share the KC Stadium with, are one of the few rugby league clubs that doesn't have one of those those hideous Americanized names. They;re called Hull FC. Which is just bloody confusing...

Good point. St Helens bucked the trend too. Castleford are their Tigers. The RU clubs have done it too. Leicester are their Tigers.

The footie clubs should at least try to be original.
