Can't stand that little prick either but I did enjoy Gangs of New York.
My favorite Scorsese film is Raging Bull.
I've seen it so many times but it always moves me.

Funny that, he's probably one of my favourite actors, I think he's great. Gangs of New York was incredible, Bill The Butcher up there with the single greatest performances of all time, but you come to expect nothing less from Daniel Day Lewis.

Raging Bull was a great film, they'll probably remake that soon because that's the way these things are going, it'll probably be crap.

A very fine actor Tel.
I though My Left Foot was class.
Last of the Mohicans as well.
Great movies.
Edit - The Boxer & In the Name of the Father as well.

For all he has a good record overall one actor I just an not take to is Ben Affleck. Maybe I am envious, or he is just a smarmy ba$tard, he ain't my cup of tea,

Agree to an extent but Argo and The Town are very, very good films. Think he directed them both too.

His best mate Matt Damon on the other hand... Probably the worst big name actor around for me.

Nostalgia night tonight with a bit of Ealing comedy....The Ladykillers.....and not that Tom Hanks crap version either.

My 10yr old loves watching it as well which is great for me.

Watched "A United Kingdom" on Sunday. I never knew the story behind the film, once again a piece of forgotten history.

Watched a recent Graham Norton programme over here and Andrew Lloyd-Webber was thinking about making a musical about it but couldn't get the rights.
