Today see's the start of the Giro d'Italia 2014, and although you may or not like cycling as a sport I would ask you to see where it starts today... In sunny, or most probably wet, BELFAST...!!!

The Tour De France started in Dublin in 1998 Red. I remember it well because I passed the entire Festina cavalcade on the M54 on their way to the ferry at Holyhead. I thought at the time that it was a hell of a lot of support for a few cyclists. But at that time we weren't aware that they were carrying enough performance enhancing drugs to make a certain Arab dictator blush

At Ascot I think King's Chocala should take all the beating in the 6.05. Came 3rd lto to the subsequent Chester Cup 2nd and 4th and conditions more juicy tonight which should help. Had a bit of 7/4 earlier but now 5/4.

Sorry boily but Fahey's horse started at 5/1 but touched 11/2. Therefore there was a tiny bit of support at some stage.

I have counted three selections for the 7:15 so one more wont hurt. HILLBILLY BOY has improved all winter and Atzeni back on tonight. He even his group when narrowly beaten at Ripon and only up a pound for that. He will go close and for the forecast I may chuck in Red Refraction.
