Lochnell 9/2 - Doncaster 3:25 - easy winner at Ayr lto, has been raised 8 lbs for that but suggested it's within range and it's a nice race to follow up.

Tertraites 8/1 - Dundalk 8:35 - still a maiden on the flat having won once at Galway over timber. He was well supported before the off Wednesday here in a useful handicap where he ran a nice race and looked a winner close home before being run out by some nice handicapped sorts, none less than Jim Bolger's Heavy Weight, who won the race. Tertraites drops back to a maiden now and I'm hopeful they are going to strike when the iron is hot with him. A reproduction of Wednesday and he should win this.

Bit of a sickener with both of these. Lochnell went off treble the price almost and just failed having being held way off the pace whilst Tetraites fell out of the stalls, was posted wide all the way around and just failed by half a length after being backed in to 4/1 before the off! Connections must be wondering what they have to do to get a win on the flat into him.
