And The Who

Most of my selections would be lucky to win that race. No I do fancy it.

Ah, I get it now. I thought stick was laying a clue down in response to my tongue in cheek post of In The City winning the Triumph...but he was just stating the Jam also had a track named the same.

Reactions: stick
Two really good front running jockey performances, the first was Tom Queally at Mussleburgh on Invoke and then Seb Sanders on Jolie Blonde at Lingfield. I backed neither sadly but love to see good jockeyship, and am always mindful of just how hard it can be to win from the front.

What's happened to the track at Lingfield? the kickback is getting worse at every meeting. In my view the only decent allwether track at present is Kempton which has always been the best anyhow a sit has a long straight with a cut away meaning much fewer hard luck stories.

The all weather scene is a valuable part of racing in the UK now but I feel the surfaces are quite poor as Southwell has always been like a beach and a 5f dash turns into a staying event, Wolverhampton and Lingfield now have a surface which is going backward it seems and Chelmsford made the wrong decision in my opinion and should have laid the same track as Kempton.

My fear is if they do not provide a better surface the better trainers will not run their horses and the cards end up a succession of £2k races for the lowest rated horses just to provide product for bookmakers.

Power packed ride by Joseph aboard Midgely's Monsieur Joe to reward that yards efforts of travelling across the sea.
