I suspect the Forum will let it go this time. Good job it wasn't a horse named after a character in Coronation Street though
The Unit. 2.20. Aintree. I think this one looks a little over priced at 12/1. The track should suit and seems to be an improving type. Was beaten 2 1/2 lengths by Air Horse One giving him 4lb.Air Horse One is now rated 140+ and ran a fine race in the County at Cheltenham. The drop back in trip is not maybe ideal, but I'm sure Alan King knows the horse better than me! Good luck to all!!!
Afternoon A couple for me in the first Hawk high, has a good record at aintree and will love the ground also beware that rogue Gary Moore sneaking one in at the bottom of the handicap crystal lad with his. Boy up top
Turns out Sky Khan hasn't been keeping it to himself all year. He's just ****. Bit annoying when you're cheering on the winner thinking it's your horse only to find out your animal is out the back with the washing.
I'm with Woolley re the chances of Mount Mews, and also deserting Moon Racer with more than a touch of wariness. I'm sure "Racer" will come good again, but hope it isn't at the expense of MM I'm also with Woolley re Seefood in the 4-05; looks primed for this. Other races = Sub Lueitenant, Worlds End and Black Ops (wish I could spell Leuitenant) Good luck all
Bugger ...there's always one !!!!! Hughes caught out a bit on Mews, can't fault the winning horse and rider though
Supreme form won't be worth anything next year. You heard it here first. Massive concerns for Might Bite today. Finished tired in the RSA. A lot of horses are finishing out of their feet after the last here. If there was a decent horse against him i'd be laying the tits off it but he may just end up winning due to paucity of competition.
Might Bite is in danger of becoming my favourite horse and new Avatar. Can't wait to see him in open company next season.
GC is certainly going to be interesting next season - assuming as always that the main contenders turn up Sub Loootenant next with an ew saver on Jossies Hill
Think bob is right about him having a hard race at HQ but he wouldn't have kept a Thisltecrack or a Yorkhill behind him.
If I can be bold to say that the two novice races today have again shown for me that this years novices aren't particularly strong. I'd be with Thistlecrack every day against Might Bite, and the 2 mile scene over hurdles looks set for a JP domination with his Champion Hurdler and Defi DS. Really looking forward to the Melling Chase I am with Kylemore Lough but it is so open.
